What do you think about 3Blue1Brown series for calculus and linear algebra?

3Blue1Brown makes great videos if you want to really understand math
But I feel he focuses mostly on understanding the math, and it becomes really hard for a beginner in that area to actually follow along. I prefer just watching Organic Chemistry tutor go over some formulas, and explainain what we're actually doing. THEN I go to channels like 3blue1brown and really understnad why those formulas worked.
What are your opinions/experiences on this though?
Top Comment: I do not believe people not at all familiar with the topics 3B1B talks about are the intended audience of his videos. I've always had the impression that he at least expects you to have done a few rudimentary exercise problems on the topic before coming to his videos, even if the exercises were done without intuition. In fact, 3B1B seems to seek to provide that lacking intuition.
